The Tanos Laboratory at Brunel University London is offering the Fully-funded PhD Studentships in the Role of Distal Appendages, Cilia and Ciliary Signalling in Kidney Disease in the UK for the academic year 2022-2023.

This fellowship will be based in the College of Health Medicine and Life Sciences at Brunel University London and funded by Kidney Research UK. This PhD studentship on the role of distal centriole appendages and ciliary signalling in kidney disease will integrate previous work from the Tanos lab and other current knowledge in the field.

Eligibility

  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Candidates should have an undergraduate degree (first or upper second class) or equivalent qualification in Biosciences. A Masters’ qualification in a relevant area would be desirable. Experience in cell biology research, microscopy and kidney research is desirable.

Benefits

Brunel University London will provide a basic salary in-line with the UKRI stipend of £17,609 plus Home or EU tuition fees for 42 months.
