Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in software development, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
• 5 years of experience coding in C++ language.
• Experience in Networking Protocols, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth Low Energy technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 15 years of experience in software development.
• Experience in Rust coding language, and Internet Protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead and architect developing Google’s next-gen P2P/Mesh network stack based on Bluetooth and WiFi technologies.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Testing and Network Engineers, and Operations to shape the direction of the product.
• Build an ecosystem of shared libraries/SDKs between Android, ChromeOS, Windows, and iOS.
